BBC dude says Lucas probably took Brighton Pavilion.

... although they haven't started counting the votes yet.

Tracking Cameron's car is incredibly stupid and ridiculous.

yes... but we've got to 0033 with only three real results and they're running out of things to say.

Play around with the swingometre instead or talk to stupid hacks and actors instead of following a flipping car.

Agree... This is slow. Ballot-counters got out of practice after five years, I guess.

The BBC loves doing that. I remember back when, when Major was winning, they spent about 20 minutes from a helo tracking his journey on the arterials from 10 Downing to his Hertfordshire constituency for the vote announcement. It was very curious.

A rather safe "rumor" to Tweet without ever being called out for making stuff up.

It's one step up from chatting up D-list stars, I'd say.

One question. Surely at every election people have been turned away when the polls close. The voters fault for not showing up earlier really.

Electoral Commission chick defending turning away voters in line at the close of polls. Unbelievable.

It seems that the objection is more for people who were in line when the polls closed, which might not have happened much in 2005 and 2001 as turnout was lower. Still, clearly it must have happened in 1997 and before with equal frequency. Unfortunate law, but there's really no excuse for going to vote right before the polls close anyway.

Amusingly, everyone's percentage is up in West Tyrone as Kieran Deeny didn't stand this time.

In Tyrone West: 3.8% swing from Democratic Unionist to Sinn Fein.
In Antrim North: DUP won, but there's no swing info yet.

Maybe people should have the right to vote if they show up during the times that are advertised to them.
