Considering that no Democratic candidate has done that well since Carter in 1976, I severely doubt that, barring a massive landslide. More likely is less then where he was in 2008 if we are to assume the election was held today, and when the election is held in 2012 I expect that he will remain stagnant in this category.

a higher white percentage in the northeast, and south atlantic (VA, NC, SC, GA, FL- because of demographic changes there), west coast and some rocky mountain states. A lower percentage in many deep south states, the great plains and some rocky mountain states. About the same in the midwest. This is if it's an Obama victory.
