It's only 8 days away until the election. So now, I'm doing another one of these polls.

1. What party are you supporting?

2. What do you think will be the popular vote outcome?

3. What do you think will be the outcome in Parliament (i.e., who will end up with how many seats, a majority of how many seats, what happens in a hung parliament, who becomes the next prime minister, etc.)?

1. Liberal Democrats

2. Conservatives scrape together a plurality, but Liberal Democrats will be right behind them, with Labour a distant third.

3. Hung Parliament -Conservatives and Liberal Democrats forge a unity government with David Cameron as the new Prime Minister.

In the wake of Prime Minister Gordon Brown's unfortunate blunder caught on microphone (especially with the election only a little over a week from now), this contest is now clearly between Conservatives and Liberal Democrats.  I doubt he has enough time to recover and to hope that voters suffer amnesia between now and May 6th.

lol?

This is the popular vote. Not the seats.

Unless you're referring to that, in which case I'm pretty sure that Labour will come in 3rd in the popular vote. Who knows, though? Smiley

1.  LibDem
2.  Conservative plurality, LibDems edge out Labour for second place in popular vote.
3.  Hung Parliament, LibDems don't go into any official coalition but stay cooperative in return for something.

There's a slim chance that Labour might come in third, but no chance that they are a distant third.

Yeah, I didn't really pay attention to the distant part. One of many example of me jumping the gun. Wink

2. Conservatives on about 35-36%
3. Some sort of conservative minority government... I just don't see how a Tory-LibDem government would work.

1. What party are you supporting?

Con and Lib Dem battling for the lead, Labour in third

3. What do you think will be the outcome in Parliament (i.e., who will end up with how many seats, a majority of how many seats, what happens in a hung parliament, who becomes the next prime minister, etc.)?
Con in lead in terms of seats, Lab and Lib Dem battling for second. Hung Parliament as a result with Gordon Brown starting off discussions. Asks the Lib Dems to come on board, Clegg says "STV or nothing", Brown refuses, resigns as PM and leader of Labour, Cameron asked to form government, brings DUP and UCUP on board and gets an overall majority of less than 5. Loses Thirsk and Malton in postponed election, Clegg moves private members bill on STV for Westminster and gets Lab to support putting pressure on Con to adopt.

Don't be suprised if seats change hands that really should not.

Tories - 35%
Labour - 30%

3. What do you think will be the outcome in Parliament (i.e., who will end up with how many seats, a majority of how many seats, what happens in a hung parliament, who becomes the next prime minister, etc.)?

Conservatives short by between 20 and 40 seats of an overall majority.

1. No idea who I am supporting. (My PM score and general views might scream tory or orange book, but I really dont have an affinity or distaste for any of the big three parties right now)

2.  Conservatives lead with about 35% of the vote.

3.  Conservative Minority Government, between 1-10 seats shy of a majority once you figure in the 2-5 seats SF is likely to win but not take.  (so between 3-15 seats short if we're really holding fast to the 326 needed to win).

Labour, but the Lib Dems are not bad .

2. What do you think will be the popular vote outcome?
The Conservatives get a few more votes than the Lib Dems. Labour is 6-8 points behind.

3. What do you think will be the outcome in Parliament (i.e., who will end up with how many seats, a majority of how many seats, what happens in a hung parliament, who becomes the next prime minister, etc.)?
Hung Parliament with a Conservative Minority Government. New elections in the next 12 months.

1. What party are you supporting?  Tories

2. What do you think will be the popular vote outcome? I have no idea, but I am going to say 37% Conservative. 29% Lib Dem, and 27% Labor.

3. What do you think will be the outcome in Parliament (i.e., who will end up with how many seats, a majority of how many seats, what happens in a hung parliament, who becomes the next prime minister, etc.)? Tory majority with about 331 seats is my wild guess.

If a hung Parliament Cameron become PM, but refused to give Clegg the proportional voting scheme that he wants, so there is no formal coalition, and after a couple of years the Lib Dems force an election.

1. Mebyon Kernow (I'd vote tactically for the LibDems if I lived in a close seat.)
2. Conservatives 35% LibDem and Labour 28%
3. Conservatives: 280 Labour 250 LibDem 90 (rounded to nearest 10)

Conservatives form government, election in a year or two when either Cameron or Clegg thinks it would be to their party's advantage.
