Pick as many.

Each country has the given religion as a majority.

Any, provided they had a secular government that respected my right to freedom of religion.

Catholic or Protestant only. The issues with the rest is they don't have any tolerable countries in existence even if one could exist in theory. I don't want to live in the Middle East/Asia (Islam/Buddhism/Hinduism), Israel (Judaism) or some post-communist economic hellhole (atheism/agnosticism).

Any of them, assuming it is a secular government.

Any of them if the majority wasn't dicks about it, none if they are being dicks about it.  But as BRTD suggested, some of these groups are more likely to be dicks than others.

Majority Atheist or Agnostic would be preferable, but Protestanism or Buddhism would be bearable too I guess.

These three are preferred, in order:

Christianity - Catholic
Christianity - Protestant
Christianity - Mormon

To live in a Muslim-majority nation, it would depend on what sort of approach the country has to religion, i.e., no fundamentalist theocracy for me.

The Czech Republic is a hellhole?

Hmmm, it actually is more economically developed than I thought and is more affluent overall than places like Detroit and some ghettos and rural areas in Western Europe. I guess I could take there, though I'd prefer any other country in Western Europe (besides Ireland of course.)

I would not want to live under a muslim majority country, based on how they treat minorities in those countries. Secularism seems to be unable to coexist with Islam. Otherwise I would live under any other religious majority, as long as it is a secular society. Probably wouldn't want to live under Mormons either, although they are nice people.

For the first 10 options, it all depends to their level of integrism and bigotry. For the last two, no problem obviously.

This and a relatively high standard of living would be key.

I would love to live in Prague.  It's such a beautiful city.

Are they theocratic?  I could never live in a society that banned pork or alcohol, for example, so that'd rule out Jews and Muslims if the society was a theocracy, but if it were a secular society that was majority either that wouldn't be an issue.

Anywhere that's cool with me eating pigs and cows and drinking is all right.  Smiley

East Bengal really isn't a bad place, you know.

I was thinking more about the middle east when I wrote that. Bangladesh is certainly a very moderate place but it's still not a secular country. Islam is the state religion.

I like how America is not a theocracy. At least if it were Mormon or Protestant it would be conservative.
