3 for PG
2 for NC
1 for UMP (A bit early maybe, but there are 7 parties left and i don't think it's going to be ousted in the next couple of rounds)

Tie between PG and NC, and my executive decision is to eliminate the PG because it is of smaller size and relevance than the NC

round seventeen is open, you have 4 votes which you must split 2-2. Votes not cast accordingly won't count at all.

go!

2 to NC
2 to UMP

The big bad right-wing party and his little "centrist" lackey should have gone far before.

And now comes the round I don't like...

I still vote for "things" that aren't real parties:

2 NC
2 Greens

UMP should really stay for one or two more rouns, but not more: it is NOT in my top 3.

The good thing about all these parties being Jacobin crap outfits, I have no favourites (not even the arguably least Jacobin of them all)! Smiley

Well, dissociating France and Jacobinism is a non-sense.

Sad

Come on, greens are no more a joke party, and though their situation is still ambiguous they proved to be able to gather a significant share of the electorate.

On the other hand, the UMP is a monolithic political machine full of hacks and blindly devoted to the Supreme Leader. A vous de juger...

No, the UMP is not at all monolithic. At the head, of course, but with its "associate" parties, and with more wings that you should think, it's an interesting party.

(If, by miracle, the Greens are out now, I'll vote UMP next round, no question about it)

Yes, I know all the politicians in the UMP don't think exactly the same on every issue. The problem is that they act as if they did, and if they have divergences, they hide them in order to show the image of a party united behind their perfect and infallible leadrer. Isn't it true ? This masquerade lasts since 3 years and is starting to become depressing.

Nah nah, it isn't true anymore. There have been elections in March. And that really isn't true anymore. Though the pension reform could help to find back some unity, dunno, but since March something has been broken.

I can only think of one that would still see a Françaisbachi in Sarkozy, Mr le député de la 6ème circonscription des Alpes Maritimes, Lionel Luca! That one is...something, Mr Lefevbre found a challenger, in an other style, in a kind of Cagnoisbachi himself.

There were a few "grognes" right after the election, two of three guys expressing their exhaustion... and then nothing. On recommence comme avant. I'm hearing that Morin is starting to make himself heard a bit. How long will it last ? Certainly not until 2012, since he and his buddies probably want to keep their constituencies.
