Libertas, you need to say how an anarchist can support Republican candidates.

I support candidates that I believe will improve my country. I don't support Republicans or Democrats, just good principled people.

...

What?  So, you want to improve a country you don't believe should exist?  I'm really not following you here, but true anarchism believes in a state-less society...which once again begs the question why would you support Republican candidates?

I'm not even going to address the impracticality or evil of anarchy.

Changes need to be made incrementally to weaken the federal government, decentralize power, and maximize individual liberty. There is no disconnect here, so please don't let Joe convince you that there is.

So you are an anti-federalist.  I find little relation between say...paleoconservatism and anarchism.

You can't just call yourself an anarchist if you favor "small government".  An anarchist favors "no government".  That is a pretty huge disconnect.

Um, no. Please stop misrepresenting my positions.

haha, alright.  I'm simply stating that you oppose the Federal government, which would (in theory I suppose) make you an anti-Federalist...

Are you a Christian?

I would say I'm a deist.  I like Christianity, I was a Christian, but I can't say I believe Jesus was the Messiah.

I don't know.  It was a gradual build up of doubt I suppose.  In my mind, I don't want to be led by a religion.  Religion was never all that important to me, I suppose I just grew out of it.

Anyways, perhaps you view it differently, but in my mind if you oppose a central government and favor state governments (do you favor state governments?) that makes you an anti-federalist.

Of course, my opinion doesn't mean much.  You could just as easily call me a socialist because I believe in more regulation.

I favor no government as an ideal, other than local communities self-governing via direct democracy.

I'm a little late to the party, but am I supposed to care that Einzige was banned?  I honestly couldn't think of a more worthless poster.  I wish I could recover the time I've wasted translating his posts, only to realize that he wasn't really saying anything at all.  Oh, and let's not forget that he lied about his education.  What a dick.

Pretty goddamn pathetic to ban him.

Since when were you an Einzige fanboy? Because he loved abortion?

No, I liked him because he was smart.

Pretty goddamn pathetic to ban him.

It would've been pretty goddamn pathetic to let someone who constantly violates the TOS to remain among our number.

Cry me a river, really. People need to step away from the internet if personal attacks are that offensive.

I guess it isn't surprising you would find him smart given your demonstrated inability when it comes to logical thought.

But the number of people saying this is sufficient for me to humour myself with a thread on it.

Well I don't support this but I expect it from the anal plugs moderating around here.

Looks like we have discovered the return of our not-so-real friend, who may be either Einzeige or Hamilton.

It's a shame. Yes, he had anger issues and an extremely inflated view of himself but his posts were more interesting than most of the ones that are usually presented on this forum. I don't think that is really even debatable.

There have been a lot of posters who have been loved by about 25% of the forum, and hated by everyone else. Hamilton, Downwithdaleft, Straha, etc all fit that description, as well as Einzige.

Hamilton- 41.2%
Einzige- 25.0%
Downwithdaleft- 29.6%

I'm not sure 41% is the same as 25%.

To be fair, I'm sure that there were multiple polls for each of them with somewhat different results.

Roll Eyes

Like this one?

Average sample sizes for polls are about 50-55 votes and rarely top 60 total so I think you can't get much more accurate than that.

Einzige is at 25%, Hamilton had a bunch of fellow trolls and socks (like yourself) stuff the ballot box. Please note the original poster and the fact that Hamilton has had at least two socks since then banned and he no doubt has many more (not counting just you.)

Einzige's last post:

There is no doubt that Ron Paul and Judge Napolitano rub elbows with some of the worst elements of the Extremist Conservatives including 9/11 Conspiracy Theorists, Haulocaust Deniers, and State's Rights Zealots (Confederates).  I was in the room at CPAC 2 years ago when Judge Napolitano criticized Lincoln for fighting the Civil War, prompting 20 people to leave the room in disgust.  I've been introduced to many Ron Paul supporters, who are sympathetic to Neo-Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan.

Bullsh**t.

Ron Paul and Judge Napolitano believe in liberty and natural rights. That's the reason why they are hated.

You cannot believe in both "liberty" and "natural rights" at the same time.

Quite agreed. "Natural rights" means "natural law", which implies a delimitation on liberty.

Lol, you're agreeing seriously with a troll.

Because he's right. And I'm much more inclined to regard you as a troll than he. To imply "rights" is (A) to argue for something metaphysical, and hence unfalsifiable, and (B) to say, by implication, that there are limits to those rights.

No he's not. And how am I more of a troll then he? Roll Eyes

Natural rights and liberty go hand-in-hand.

HURF DURF! Let's not touch on any of the points I've made and simply say you're right, because... because!

Having any sort of discussion with you is rather like trying to talk to my niece through her mouthful of p'sghetti.
