As so often before, I am contesting the upcoming Senatorial elections. My label will be that of a Social Democrat.

Discuss.

I presume that you'll give a high preference for Fred. To send a message.

I'll have to see who else runs, but I expect that I can give you a third or fourth preference.

Abolish regional Senate seats. That is first.

Statement

Gambling is morally repulsive and casinos have negative effects on communities in myriad ways. As a result, I wil oppose any attempts to legalize gambling nationwide, such as the one currently on the Senate floor.

I remember that thread. It will likely stand for all time as the longest convention thread ever. To boot, it was never even adjourned.

That's the most real thing I've ever seen in Atlasia. Reading the thread, I picture a convention at an indeterminate city, the floor engulfed in chaos with dozens vainly attempting to get themselves heard. That convention was something else. It was terrifying, astounding, wonderous. It was the manic and frantic end, and it was the peak as well. It was the last hurrah of the Regional Protection Party, the party that found power that I did not imagine existed and used it to do things I thought not possible. I doubt that we shall look upon its like again.

No, it was the last hurrah of Hamilton's Progressive Conservative Party and a rebirth of Regionalism within the party when many like Hamilton and others were willing to trade it away for electoral victory that would have never occured anyone because him and his scandals and DWTL's scandals. .
