Since we seem to have more primaries against incumbents this year than usual, I thought it would be fun to discuss some of them.

Let's start with the Democratic primary in Arkansas, the race to see who will lose to John Boozman.

At the moment, I'd say Blanche wins in the mid-high 50s. However, there's still over a month to go, so I wouldn't put any money on it.

I would give Lincoln the edge. Whoever wins will get the honor of losing to Boozman.

Halter.

BTW, why did Lincoln vote against the Stupak Amendment? That was before she got a primary challenge and AR is a very pro-life state.

The Stupak amendment was never introduced in the Senate.  The Senate had different abortion language (which basically came from Ben Nelson, IIRC), and it's the Senate language that ended up becoming law.

Still, i remember some anti-abortion amendment being voted on in the Senate, and it was rejected wby a vote of 54-40. How come Lincoln voted to reject it when her state is very pro-life (and this was before her priamry challenge)?

My guess would be Halter. I think the fundraising speaks for its self.

You would have to be on shrooms to think Halter has a chance.

And why is that, Blubber?
