As someone said, imagine for a moment that the head of the DNC had done this.

It's horrible either way, but these are private entities.......they have to take care of this sh**t themselves ASAP or the donors are going to close their wallets.....

Steele needs to go anyway.

RNC is now saying Steele wasn't there, but that the Democrats were in a stripclub on the East Coast - this is just getting freaking weird.

I love it how it's usually the GOP that gets caught doing this kind of thing. The whole family values thing just doesn't apply when people aren't looking, apparently.

Tucker was always better at journalism than TV, I'm glad he's getting some attention.

I'll be awfully sad to see him go, though. He's added a welcome bit of ridiculousness to the position of party chairman. The RNC just won't be the same without him...

Steele had nothing to do with this.

This was some after-party for a young donors meeting that some dumbass in the RNC Finance department approved without checking it out.  It probably would have happened anyway regardless of who the RNC Chair was.

Clearly they were seeking a metaphor for the oppressive Obama administration.

Tucker Carlson is editor-in-chief of The Daily Caller, the political news website that broked this story.

Yeah he used to have a crappy show on CNN with Begala, Jon Stewart kind if made it famous by asking them to "just stop."

I agree though, he IS a far better journalist, and I kinda like his whole right-of-center Huffington Post concept, although he's going to have to break more stories for me to actually visit his site on a regular basis.

Followed by an even crappier show on MSNBC.

I actually liked Tucker's show on MSNBC.  Certainly much better than the shows that just feed you partisan talking points like Hannity and Olbermann.

Me too.  He and I subscribe to a similar brand of conservatism.  It's a shame he was canceled.
