     Only Feinstein would poll better. I mean, let's face it; most Californians do not really remember Governor Moonbeam. As far as they are concerned, Jerry Brown is a likeable elder statesman who did a good job running Oakland.

     Furthermore, as we saw in 2002, the Democratic candidate collapsing can just lead to the Green & Peace and Freedom candidates getting more votes. A Democratic collapse does not translate into a Republican victory unless the Republican candidate is good enough to make it translate into a victory.

Another poll comes out with Meg Whittman ahead, she is now the favorite, we should of had a primary, Brown may not have been the right choice.  He is a seasoned politician but he may not fit in California, he may be too liberal.

It's California...
It's also Governor Moonbeam and the son of the guy who lost to Reagan - people remember that don't give a sh$t about either
