(Vorlon/Dave - you can delete this after 24 hours)

Hey guys,

A family emergency popped up last night, so I have to run off to Illinois this morning.  I'll be back Monday night (hopefully).  Just to be safe, I've filled out my absentee ballot to drop off as I hit the road.  I'll do my best to catch up on all the discussions when I return.

Be safe, and be kind to each other while I'm gone.  And most importantly, go out and vote next week!

See you when I get back.

Thanks guys.  Driving 14 hours isn't all that it is cracked up to be.  *laughs*

However, I made some observations on the road:

First of all . . . I only saw a handful of Bush/Kerry signs in MD, PA, OH, IN, and IL.  While in Chicago, I saw more Bush signs than Kerry signs (though not many of either).  I did see one person with a Bush sign next to an Obama sign in their yard.  Smiley  Commercials - outside of local campaigns, I heard one Bush commercial in Illinois, and one Badnarik commercial in Indiana.  And lastly, when I went to turn in my absentee ballot on Tuesday, our gov't polling office had a non-diebold electronic voting machine.  A very clear and easy way of voting.

And now . . . I'm going to go pass out of my bed.  hahaha

HAPPY VOTING DAY TOMORROW!!!
