An Open Letter to President Elect PBrunsel

Mr PBrunsel; in the Presidental Debate you described the Labour Movement as a "Special Interest".

We are appalled by this slur on our good name and demand you apologise

Why's it a ridiculous claim?
Not trying to stir up trouble between the new Administration and the Labour Movement are you?

I would suggest Mr. President-elect that you DO NOT apologize for this statement. This is nothing more than a partisan ploy.

I have a feeling you're the one trying to stir up trouble. Perhaps to get your labor movement more attention?

It is a ridiculous claim because it is simply an opinion that the President-elect stated.

If it meant so much to you than why have you waited so long to bring it up?

No it isn't. I am standing up for the Workers of This Atlas who have been insulted by that unfair, misleading and innacurate remark.

Check out the resolutions of the I NUM Conference. I couldn't ask for an apology earlier, as it would have unfairly influenced the election.

I agree with PBrunsel though. Labor (or Labour) Unions are special intrests inasmuch as they put forth their intrests in government and wrangle politicians to side with what they think is the right policy. They are no different from the NRA or the Trial Lawyers. They are all special intrest. Also that is just an opinion stated by PBrunsel. Why should anyone have to apologize for opinion we live in a free country.

The OMOW (the Oil Men for the Oppresion of Workers) condemns this unprecedented step by a labor union.  The OMOW has always stood by President-Elect PBrunsel.

The NUM is pleased to find that it is acting like the real NUM did :-)

The UFWHI demands a retraction or qualification of the Presiden-elect's highly unfortunate statement.
However, its spokesperson made it very clear that the UFWHI did not join in the NUM's demand of an "apology".
