Too bad Schiff doesn't stand a chance in the primary and it's going to be a boring McMahon/Simmons vs. Blumenthal race.

A little sad that their greatest victory has been a <60% primary win in a politically irrelevant state.

If I vote for him, it wouldn't be because he's Jewish. Stop being ridiculous.

Still it would be historic, just like electing Obama was in 2008 for the U.S.

Historic, for...French? Have a break mister.

lol, yah, that's what's going on amongst 'Jewish are everywhere!!!' French speaking forumers...

All these pictures because in France this club is a bit more than a club, OM is to Marseille kinda what football is for Brazil, or something like that...

Oh, and the star on the logo is because of this:

1993, I recorded the final, had made a beautiful jacket for it, but never watched it again, that was something.

-skip it-

Well, France has never had a Jewish President, even though it did have a Jewish PM in the past (Leon Blum).

Blum was head of state (in other words, both President and Prime Minister) in the Provisional Government.

A little sad that their greatest victory has been a <60% primary win in a politically irrelevant state.

It was a 23.33 point victory over the 2nd place candidate in a six-candidate field, despite the fact that the entire establishment was behind that opponent who had once held a commanding lead. It has attracted national media attention being such a massive victory for an insurgent candidate.

And a U.S. Senate race is a U.S. Senate race regardless of the state.

Xahar, maybe you can help me with this. Blum was indeed head of state and Government for like one month, before Auriol was elected President, but was he also co-Prince of Andorra?

Wiki is mentioning that Bidault continued in that role unrit Auriol.

Oh dear... Yyou were speaking about something historical like Obama 2008, which I understood as 'Wow! Big event!', but hell in that case, the 'Jew dimension' of Strauss-Kahn if ever he was elected as a president would maybe have some historical importance for you, I don't know, but in France who the hell would care??

That area is amazingly beautiful. And has a weather that gives life a sense, unlike the area you're referring to.

Tongue

Oh and, in Bretagne, dunno why, I've something for 'Merlus'.

Cute Celtic thing, though the 3 legs stuff is kinda scary, and that's the only one I can't identify, that is?

Marignane-Vitrolles-Fos are not 'amazingly beautiful' (though the area east of Marseille, Camargue, Provencal backcountry is), far from it. It's industrial wasteland populated by people who'd fit in well in Appalachia or Alabama.

The whole surrounding of Marseille, and Provence as a whole maybe though I've just seen around Marseille, is beautiful, except maybe, yes, the industrial part which I hadn't in mind but which is far to be what count the most when you speak about the surrounding of Marseille. Oh and, ever been to Camargue?? Hmm, I still fail to see how people would find this flat empty stuff beautiful. In about what? 60 kms? you pass from the awful region of Arles, to the wonderful one of Marseille.

- well, skip me too, enjoy -
