Magellan Strategies:
http://www.magellanstrategies.com/documents/MagellanKentuckyUSSenate-TeaPartyGOPPrimarySurveyRelease022410.pdf

Palin 28%
Huckabee 24%
Romney 16%
Gingrich 12%
Ron Paul 4%
Pawlenty 2%
Undecided 14%

Among likely Republican primary voters, Sarah Palin leads Mike Huckabee 28% to 24% in a presidential primary ballot test. Mitt Romney is third with 16%, followed by Newt Gingrich with 12%, Ron Paul with 4%, Tim Pawlenty with 2%, and 14% are undecided. Younger voters (18‐34) prefer Palin by a significant margin with 43% support, and among senior citizens the ticket tightens up with Romney, Palin and Huckabee in a dead heat.

Not too surprising. I would expect Kentucky to be a Huckabee/Palin tossup.

Yeah but the news from the poll is how much Romney is behind despite the fact that Huckabee and Palin are allegedly splitting the vote.

Take out Huckabee from this poll and Palin probably is up 20-25 points on Romney in a one-on-one in Kentucky.  McCain would have never lost Kentucky by 20-25 points and McCain's model is supposed to be Romney's model.

I get the "McCain, 2008=Romney, 2012," but I'm not so sure I buy it. I think it mostly comes from the "2008 was McCain's turn, 2012 is Romney's turn" idea, which I don't think is so valid. I don't think that the 2012 primaries will be a repeat of the 2008 primaries, because that was a hard lesson learned. Plus, Kentucky just doesn't strike me as a State in which Romney would be a good fit anyway.

That said, I could be 100% wrong. It's just my two cents.

Can we please get a state that's actually going to matter.  Kentucky, Utah, and Alabama are not the states that are first in the primary.  They should poll Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina before any other state.

Have there not been any Iowa or South Carolina polls yet? I feel like there may have been a couple a while ago...

Haven't been any polls of SC.  There's been one poll of Iowa in November, but it was just a poll of favorability:
