I have to agree with Libertas, partially.  If Obama has poor approval ratings by 2012, a Republican will win, even if he's a crypto-fascist like Huckabee.  The problem is the sheer stupidity of many voters.

Given the caliber of some of the GOP condidates (Huckabee, Romney, Palin), Obama should be safe at 45%... anything lower though, he's gone.
