Mitt Romney, although I like Gary Johnson and hold respect for Newt Gingrich.

Palin, so Obama can easily beat her and allow the Dems to win many seats due to his massive coattails, as well as for the entertainment value.

Too bad President Obama won't be winning.

I don't think she would be good; It's not that it's her conservatism; It's her capability. I think "real" conservatives should go with the Thune or Gingrich alternative.

Thune and Gingrich are neocons, not real conservatives.

^^^

I'm pretty sure Thune's vote on the bail outs will come to haunt him (that and all the comparisons to Quayle..). Gingrich's career has been dead since about 1998.

Yeah, pretty much.

The GOP better come up with some new candidates besides these certain losers.

Very weak field so far. Also, Johnson has all the charisma of white paint TBH.

White paint in a pleasing manner, or are referring you something else? I've always found Johnson quite charismatic, in his own sort of way.

However, I don't think the GOP will vote for an anti-war, pro-drug legalization candidate in 2012. The cards just aren't there, in my opinion. Maybe long term we'll have candidates like Johnson running and winning, but 2012 seems too soon for someone like him to win.
