Question: Are you able to analyse and interpret the latest polls?

Yes, when you look at internals and weight where appropriate you can get accurate information.

It takes some doing, but they can give a rough snapshot.  Taken together, they can show trends.

Polling is a science, and unless they use strictly rigorous methodology, they are next to worthless.

The polling methods used today are from the Pleistocene Era.  They are next to useless.

I went for the middle option.  I think the majority of polls floating around are garbage.  But those who are very serious about the science and stick to strictly rigorous principles are likely to be of some value.

This is coming from a guy who thought Kerry +19 in California meant the nation was trending towards JK. I saw it as stating the obvious- JK will win CA.

I love polls about polls.  I guess that we could keep going in ever decreasingly tighter concentric circles until we disappeared up our own booty.
