Senator Arlen Specter (PA) wins the Republican nomination, and, in a bid to shore up conservatives, picks Senator Dick Lugar (IN) as his running mate. Ross Perot still runs and tries to  move to the right in a bid to appeal to conservatives dissatisfied with Specter. Clinton/Gore still run like in real life.
