I would greatly appreciate it if voters would follow what is in fact THE LAW.  Your state of voter registration must be indicated in your avatar or your signature.

The user currently known as Richard M Nixon most recently registered to vote from the state of Texas, under the name of RicDallas869.  He is displaying a New Jersey avatar with no indication that he is actually registered in Texas.  I would appreciate it if he would either: a) change his registration to New Jersey (registering the name change is also appreciated), or b) change his avatar to Texas, or c) indicate in his signature that he is registered in Texas.  Thankfully the user did not attempt to vote for Senate from the state of New Jersey, or I would have had to disqualify his vote.

Old Europe has a German avatar.  It is customary for users with foriegn avatars to indicate their state of registration in their signature.

Josh22 is still registered in Texas.  He may change his registration to North Carolina after October 24th.  As both states are in district 4, his Senate vote is unaffected.

Thank you all,
Fritz

Oops, thanks for pointing that out.
In my last count I had Nixon's blank vote tallied in the wrong region.

The Attorney General considers this action to be entirely legal and will assist in the enforcement of this directive from the Office of Forum Affairs.

Sounds awfully official.

I think you're right. The vote should not be counted.

However, in the future, we might want to work to make this more aware to new members. I don't like having to take the side of throwing out votes, but Fritz made an official, clear and concise statement and he failed to comprehend.
