Since the dawn of time man has proven itself to be by far the more violent and destructive of the sexes.  Is it really no surprise that in the past few hundred years as women became more powerful, had more of a voice and say in the matters of the world that we have experienced our greatest social progress?  It is quite clear that, using history as precedent, that the recognition of women as equals to men has always brought forth a better society for all.  Just think about all the movements that came out because of the forthrightness of some brave women: the Abolition Movement, Women's Rights (that's kind of a dur), Civil Rights just to name a few.
And what was happening to the world for the thousands of years of male dominance? Were those few thousand years an era we can truly be proud of, an era where emperors and kings ruled over millions, who had godlike authority to rule as they saw fit with no method of reasonable protest? Where the vast majority of humanity lived in abject poverty, bound to whatever master or overlord happened to hold dominance over their realm?
Maybe it isn't women who aren't rational afterall.........

However, even with that noted, men should have the right to vote.
