I am authorized by the Constitution of the Southeastern Region of the Atlas Forum to administer an election for the office of Governor and for a Resolution placed upon the ballot.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
This Gubenatorial election shall be for the term beginning immediately after the end of the election and ending on December 19, 2004 at 11:59pm, presuming there ain't no extraordinary circumstances.
Yall can begin voting now. The polls will be open until Sunday, October 24 at 11:59pm. All times Central.
Please do not modify any vote. You have one office and one issue to vote for, try not to screw it up. Any modifications of votes may be subject to disqualification if deemed appropriate by the Atlas Forum Supreme Court.
Please do not campaign in this thread (excluding signatures). There are other places more appropriate for that.
Please do not make unnecessary comments in this thread. There are threads up yonder for that.
Preference/Instant Runoff voting is in effect, as much as it matters with one candidates on the ballot
Remember that this is only a vote for the Office of Governor. The winner of this election will have the option of choosing a Lieutenant.

Resolutions:1) Lottery Proposal
"I propose that the Southeastern region establish a lottery, the profits of which would be directed towards college or vocational scholarships for any child who is a resident of the Southeast who has achieved a "B" grade average or higher during their term in high school.
This obligation should only be honored via the lottery funds and no obligation shall be placed upon the Southeastern general fund should funds not be available in the lottery fund."
