Opinion of Dave Leip (Jan. '10)?

I'm wondering if his approval rating has changed recently due to his recent actions. I think it was in the 40s last time something like this was done.

It is only by virtue of his creation, and on-going generosity, that any of us are here, at this place, actually. Perhaps some might consider that.

Without Dave we probably would have never met each other (at least cyberly) and our political knowledge probably wouldn't have been challenged/refined near as much.  He's not perfect, but we have to give him props for creating this forum and keeping it going for the better part of 10 years now.
