Can Maes make 30% at the convention to get on the ballot? Tea Partiers are throwing support behind him after McInnis caliming he was one of them and they'll be active in the caucuses in March
That would be interesting. I hope he does but McInnis is the establishment candidate and has lots of money (not to mention name recognition).
However, McInnis probably represents the old, Bush-era GOP in the eyes of many caucus-goers. People who support fiscal responsibility are fired up and thus could have higher turnout than other wings of the GOP.
