Thomas Dewey narrowly defeats Truman in 1948. He sends U.S. troops to South Korea to protect it from a North Korean invasion in 1950, as in RL. The U.S. is still stuck in Korea in 1952 and the war is a stalemate and getting increasingly unpopular. However, the economy is in good shape in 1952. The unemployment rate is 3% and the inflation rate is 1%. How does this election turn out? I'm thinking Stevenson narrowly ekes out a victory.

Stevenson would've done a little better in the northwest, but he'd likely lose Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland... Just my thought.

Would this be a better map? BTW, do you think Stevenson is going to narrowly win?

Stevenson wouldn't win a nationwide campaign.

^^ This.

With the economy showing signs of recovery, incumbent President Thomas Dewey wins re-election in November 1952 against Governor Adlai Stevenson in a close race. I'm probably being too generous to Stevenson however, especially with victories in Minnesota and Michigan respectively.
