Statement from the Office of Assemblyman Ben
I am deeply saddened by the recent bridge collapse in West Virginia; it is a tragedy, and my deepest condolences go out to the loved ones of the five casualties.  It is clear that the Mideast infrastructure needs to be renovated, and I will soon introduce legislation to that effect.

Hello, everybody!  I'm taking a break from my birthday party to announce that I will once again be running for Mideast Assembly, and I hope to have your support!  I feel I've done a good job over my time here, and I hope to once again be reelected!  Thank you, and vote for Ben!

What will be your legislative goals for the next secession if you are reelected?

Next secession?  Is the Mideast going to secede?

First of all, let me say the Mideast has no plans to secede.  Now, my number one priority if reelected will be continuing to cut down on the unemployment numbers in our region, which are the highest in the nation.  I'd also like to work on the education system in the Mideast, to make sure that the children in the Mideast can not only receive quality education, but are able to receive it without going bankrupt.

Perhaps it'd be a good idea. The Mideast may be better off without some snooty Midwesterner not being able to understand a simple honest mistake.
