But if a supposed "troll" can make a good Assemblyman, who are we to stop him?

Because there's no guarantee they could be a good Assemblyman, and they won't be a good Assemblyman, because all they can do is vote.  It basically creates a zombie Assemblyman, and we don't want that, it isn't good for the Region.

But we shouldn't restrict voting rights to anybody merely because their name is on a list of supposed "trolls" that a select group of people are in charge of creating. Mideasterners who probably aren't guilty of anything might be stripped of all rights merely because one particular person thought he was a troll. If a "troll" is legitimately a loon, I doubt the public would vote him into office.

Plenty of loons have been elected to office throughout Atlasia in the past.

Exactly. Let the people choose.

I would like to put this to a public referendum, if my fellow Assemblymen will vote for it.

Hello everyone!  In case it hasn't been made clear, I will be seeking reelection to the Mideast Assembly this weekend.  I hope that I can count on everyone's support to win a first full term, and continue working with my colleagues to improve the Mideast.

As always, please direct all questions, complaints, threats, etc., to me here Smiley

Hello everyone, voting has now begun in this month's elections.  I encourage everyone to first preference myself for the Assembly, but most importantly, to participate in the democratic process.  I wish a hearty good luck to my opponents, and to Swedish Cheese and Inks as they battle for the Governorship.

Thank you both Smiley

Assemblyman Ben takes the stages as his campaign theme song plays on the speakers.

Hello, everyone!  It has been projected that I will be reelected, and I want to thank all of my supporters.  I'd also like to congratulate all three of my colleagues, as well as Governor Inks, on their elections.  I'd like to congratulate Swedish Cheese on his election, and I hope he will serve as admirably as his predecessor, who will now be a valuable asset to the Assembly.

Once again, thank you all, and Dave bless!

Assemblyman Ben exits the stage to shake hands with reporters as his campaign theme song plays on the speakers.

Assemblyman Ben takes the stages as his campaign theme song plays on the speakers.

Hello, everyone!  The results have been certified, and I have been reelected yet again to the Assembly!  I want to thank my supporters, as well as congratulate the other four newly elected members of the Assembly.  I look forward to working with everyone in the new Assembly.

Thank you, and Dave Bless.
