Warren Harding takes better care of his health and survives to the election of 1924. At the end of 1923, the corruption within his adminstration is completely exposed. Harding fires many cabinet members and replaces them with more honest men. Harding also emphasizes the booming economy and the recovery from the Recession of 1920-1921. He said that this is due to his economic policies. The Democrats nominate William Gibbs McAdoo. How would this election turn out? I think Harding would narrowly win due to the good economy, even though the corruption is going to play against him.
