I cannot confirm this because I do not have access to the sort of information that would make such a confirmation possible (only Dave does). It seemed that Dave thought that this was the case, however.

Al, did Giovanni ever mention to you why he created a second account acting like he was a completely different person instead of simply saying he was Giovanni and that he could not access his first account?

Giovanni hasn't mentioned anything to me - I'm just relating evidence that's on the moderators board. But no explanation for that part of his conduct has, I think, ever been posted there or anywhere else, no.

Giovanni, can you explain to the Court why you created a second account? Are we correct in assuming that you simply had no access to your old account und thus had no other way to participate?

It is indeed true that that was my one and only intention. I had accidentally registered my Giovanni account to an email that did not work, and when I attempted to redirect that email to a working address, it said it sent an email that never truly came. So, I figured that Giovanni was lost forever, and I created a new account. I had contacted Dave that I was in fact Giovanni, and he said he would merge the two accounts. This made me feel like it was ok to register a second time on Atlasia.

The prosecution will clearly ask this...so I will get it out of the way.

Why did you act like a different person with your 2nd account?

There is nothing illegal about acting like a different person. Since I had thought Giovanni had been inaccesible, I figured "Hey! Wouldn't it be cool to act like somebody else?" Nothing wrong about that. As for registering it into Atlasia, Dave had told me he was merging Giovanni and Farmer-Labour, so I had figured it wouldn't matter if I registered, and it would almost be treated like a move. If I had known Giovanni could be salvaged, I would not have acted like my Quasi-Socialist persona.
