I find survivor games really interesting, so I finally decided to start my own. Try to be kind, since it's my first one. Smiley
Anyways, since the list of people in the PS who want to be President is almost infinite, I'm almost certain to forget someone. That's why, you'll have the possibility to nominate anyone who you consider somewhat prominent. This will last, say, until Tuesday, and then the real survivor wll start.

Here's the list :
- Dominique Strauss-Khan
- Ségolène Royal
- Bertrand Delanoë
- Martine Aubry
- Benoît Hamon
- Pierre Moscovici
- Vincent Peillon
- François Hollande (LOL)
- Laurent Fabius
- Henri Emmanuelli

Added :
- Manuel Valls (thanks Benwah)
- Arnaud Montebourg (thanks Hash)
- Jean-Marc Ayrault (thanks Hash)
- Jack Lang (thanks Fab)
- Gérard Collomb (thanks Fab)
- François Rebsamen (thanks Fab)
- Julien Dray (thanks Fab)

The bigger the better, I guess so I'll propose Arnaud Montebourg and Jean-Marc Ayrault.

It's Emmanuelli, not Emmanuéli.
But I think you should drop him: it's really too late for him...

Jack Lang is almost in the same case, but he deserves a little bit more to be in than Emmanuelli, frankly.

And I agree with Hash on Montebourg but disagree with him on Ayrault: his turn has gone long ago.

Of course, it's about "présidentiables", not about "probable primary candidates".

So, if you bring Ayrault in, Gérard Collomb should be in too, whatever we can think of him...

If we have very weak présidentiables, you have to add Rebsamen also.

If Fab really wants, I can insert him. But the fact I didn't evven know him probably doesn't make him so much of a "présidentiable"... Tongue
(of course, neither Hollande, but...)

Oh come on, Antonio, what a socialist of you, you don't know Rebsamen.......

Well, it's not at all a présidentiable but if Colomb is in, a good part of the PS can.

And since the logic is the bigger the better, then I think Jospin and Rocard can have their place too.

And about other not serious names you can include Elisabeth Guigou and Marylise Lebranchu, since it would make more women too.

Oh, just a question, is their a determined way to make the choice? I mean do we vote for those we prefer or for those who think have the most chances? Or is that free? Hmm, personally, since I like foreseeing I may prefer to vote for those who have the most chances, but that would just be my preference, and that's just a question.

OMG... Come on !
He was really considered as a potential first secretary before Reims, as he could have been a compromise candidate between Royal and the others (except the left and Fabius).
He was a fierce supporter of Royal, even more than Peillon, but became more moderate after the 2007 defeat.
Really, he is better placed than Emmanuelli now.

I don't agree on Lebranchu, she is really second-tier. Only her thought about becoming first secretary (and she was probably acting to put more mess before Aubry declared herself, last year, before Reims).
And Guigou is out of date (too close to Jospin and so, she sank after 2002). But, well, if you want...

Well, again, with Ayrault in, you should include, in fact, all the potential first secretaries and Rebsamen is one.

Of course, Julien Dray should be in also, despite his current problems. Many of you may disagree, but "the more, the better", so...

Of course Lebranchu and Guigou are just here to make the bigger the better, as well for Rocard and Jospin, and for the 2 formers it makes more women (eh they like parity in PS after all Grin).

Oh and really Ayrault is totally out of date too, and if Colomb can come, then a lot can come.

Oh and about Hollande seems I'm the only one to make him being the big one against Ségolène. It amuses me ho people underestimate him, I did a while ago too, but seems he really shows ambition I no more, far off. Well, that's just me, but...

Added Rebsamen and Ayrault. Quite skeptical with Lebranchu and Guigou, and oppose Jospin and Rocard (the two better socialist of the past 50 years, but sadly politically dead).

Ayrault and Rebsamen are out as well. Just saying this as a fact, not to contest your choices.

Indeed, I agree with you. But they died more recently than Rocard and Jospin.

Well, yeah, Julien Dray could be the 'come back of the betrayed' (or something like this), well, just ultimately, but, yes, why not. And one more time, since Colomb is here, it's 'open'.

And what about my question? How is this vote? For the people we prefer? For those that we see as having the most competences for being president? For those who have the most chances? Free?

Thanks.

I guess it will be like classical survivors. Smiley I'll try to invent some funny rules in the end, though.

As for Dray, sure he shouldn't be here anymore but I'll keep him just to have more guys.
(BTW, you're still in time to nominate someone else ! Wink)

Oh, that's fine, the beginning list was enough for me anyways. But I assume your answer means it's free for the way to vote then.
