Based roughly on this:
True, picking up on my comment you propose to discuss how the Liberal Party is wandering in the wilderness, but please explore at least some of the policy dilemmas that they confront in this wilderness, e.g. climate change and carbon emissions controls, regulation of markets and financial firms, immigration policy (perhaps), maybe foreign policy such as Afghanistan. I don't expect, and you certainly can't provide, anything like full coverage of such matters in 10-12 pages, but it won't be enough to recount the ups and downs of the two-party and two-leader contest. - JH
Aussies and others in the know, have any thoughts on where I should/n't take this essay? What I should write about, what the reality is on the ground over there.
