Well, I guess I'm going to say something which was already more than obvious...

I'm looking to serve along with you after your reelection Smiley

I'm down. Woot!

So tell me, what Polish drink do you prefer? Vodka? Ever had horilka? I actually made some once.

Whatever, I'll bring single malt scotch to the victory party, you bring your choice of booze to match. Grin

Well, recently I've became more beer man, yet vodka is justifiable in some situation like one you're talking about Grin

Quality beer is good by me, man. Maybe I'll dredge out some of my homebrew from the basement. It's an Irish Stout. Not the best batch I've ever made by far, but passable once you get past the geyser-like level of carbonation. Tongue

Hello Atlasia:

I'm proud of the work I do in the Senate and ask your support for another term. I'm among the more active members of the Senate and put a lawyer's finesse on to clean up the details of legislation. That said, there's always room for improvement. Here's my goals to improve service as your Senator next term:

1) Introduce more legislation: After a very productive first term I've not introduced nearly as much this term (although I guess that could be said of the Senate as a whole). While most legislation passed this term incorporate considerable changes I authored, it's not enough just to improve the details of others ideas (though its a start Smiley). I promise to be more productive and creative in introducing legislation.

2) More Forest, Less Trees: I pride myself on being able to hammer out the details and language of bills to make the ideas behind them more workable. Every legislature needs someone who can get under the hood and tinker until the motor is working at its best, and I pride myself on being the Senate's mechanic. Wink That said, there is a limit to which details cross the line from improving a bill to just plain nitpicking. I'm not going to ceed the mechanic function yet (hey, somebody's got to do it Grin), but I will try to be a little more focused on the big picture rather than get TOO bogged down in details.

Please give me the opportunity to serve another term as your Senator. Thank you!

Pics are coming Tom, promise! Wink

We're home from the hospital now and everyone but me is napping. So for obvious reasons this'll be my last bit of campaigning other than voting sometime soon. It's clear Kalwejt will be safely elected (congrats man! Cheesy). So I'm asking supporters (as is Kal) who may be inclined to give Kal 1st preference to instead please move myself or Bacon King up to first instead. Remember, Kal will need BK's and my help to get things accomplished in the Senate.

Please allow me to continue being an active senator for you, and thank you for your vote! Smiley

Thank you to everyone who supported me. That includes anyone who put me in their top 5. I promise to continue being an active part of the Senate for all Atlasia.

I'm going to keep this quick due to impending bedtimes, but words can't express how disappointed I am Kal won't be making it to the Senate. Sad Still, welcome to Andrew who I know will do a great job.

Thank you all again!!

Happy Dance Commencing

You too, Senator. Good to see two of my favorite Republicans making it (and one replacing another favorite, Bullmoose) Cheesy

Now if we can just get Torie in there it'll be a GOP lovefest. Grin

Wait, this praise probably hurts you with your base, right? Lemme fix that....

"Grrrr....stupid Wall Street loving, W-supporting Republicans! Go back to your yachts!!"

There, problem solved. Wink

Nonsense! I made that campaign promise my FIRST priority.
