The village had 200 people a little over a decade ago when the southern northern runway was built. About 50 people holding out today. Incredible.

Well, yes, rather incredible that it remains a village within an airport. Funny too I must say.

Rather incredible.

I haven't seen a village actually 'within' an airport, but there's a part of St. Jacques de la Lande which is right outside Rennes airport. And there's also the village of Roissy. But I guess villages outside airports are universal.
