My Congressman EMBARRASSED me today!!!

Kevin Brady (R-TX8) was WAY over the top today in his questioning of Treasury Sec Timothy Geithner, and I say that as one who blamed Geithner for letting Lehman Bros go under and I ranted extensively on this forum against Geithner's nomination and confirmation.  But Brady was disgraceful today.

Brady is my congressmen too, I agree somewhat with what he said, but how he said it did come off as extremley rude.

I don't see any problem in that video other than Geithner being a dirtbag as usual. Notice how Geithner says outright "it is a great privilege to serve this president"; he doesn't give a crap about serving the interests of this country.

My congressman embarrasses me on a regular basis for real reasons. I see nothing wrong with Brady in that video. I kept waiting for something offensive to happen, but it never did.

Kevin Brady is a deeply misguided fool. He reminds me of those Senators in the 1930's who wanted to "ban gambling on the stock market, but keep investing legal", and the example used was "I lost money on the stock market. Clearly that's bad gambling. It should be outlawed." I am not kidding, that was an actual line of reasoning used by a Senator.

You should be embarrassed with yourself for advocating that the average taxpayer be saddled with the cost of bailing out the fat cat executives (which is exactly what Geithner did).
