That just says that Giuliani's people are *publicly* denying this.  Doesn't mean it isn't true.  They might just not want to talk about it on the record until Giuliani makes up his mind for sure.

Probably the same sources as the NY Daily News.  No mention by the AP of parlaying the senate seat into a presidential bid though.
