Worth posting this due to all the dark colors. Also, because the area that Miller was weakest in was the stronghold of the losing candidate, probably helping Zell keep his job (while also weakening the Democratic party in SE Georgia)

What's that very dark blue county on the Alabama border in the Southwest?

Quitman County. Tiny, tiny population (~2,600 as of 2000), split about 50/50 white/black. According to the results, there were only 3 votes cast there, all for Millner. Not sure if that's a typo or what, but some of the other counties have incredibly small results too, so it's not out of the realm of possibility.
