Ya, as I have had the privilege to get to know Grumpy better, and he me, we have bonded. Heck, the guy has a good sense of humor. What more can one ask? 

By the way I just had a great time in Ft. Worth.  What I liked best is that the bars have cheap booze, and the women are cute.  I found the plethora of fundamentalist churches on seemingly almost every block a bit strange, but hey, whatever - different stokes for different folks. Going back to the airport with a couple of guys, the driver as we approached the airport asked if we were all professors, as we chatted about all kinds of strange finance esoterica, and the Scot-Irish, and the oddity that the US is at once economically developed and religious, and on and on, and one of us said well one is an economics professor at Duke, I'm an author, and the third is well, just a lawyer. And there you have it! 

Oh the driver said I as a devout Christian but I find the lack of fellowship between us all disappointing. I said well it is easier to talk Christianity than live it, and he said, ain't that the truth, and smiled. That earned him a generous tip from old man Torie.

Opebo: I used to think he was a brainless far leftist hack who has a horrible taste in cars, then I found out he liked Thai girls and prostitutes and my opinion of him skyrocketed instantly.

DWTL: When I first encountered DWTL I thought he was a pretty reasonable guy (fooled by his social score) until he started badmouthing about Matthew Shepard then I realized he was a tool. His controlling behavior of the RPP in Atlasia further proved this.

Hamilton: When I first saw his name I thought "oh great, another Federalist loving bastard" who hates free trade and civil liberties (because let's face it Alexander Hamilton would be the preceding two things if he existed). However, after awhile he proved that he is quite the supporter of civil liberties and that fair trade is actually different than protectionism. He's probably one of the most intelligent posters on here, hell he's even made me look like a total dumbass a few times. Congratulations.
