King Henry VIII of England married Anne of Cleves, daughter of the Duke of Cleves, in 1540.  Henry did not like Anne after meeting her, and the marriage was annuled the same year.

Question

Had Henry liked Anne, and had they had children, in particular a healthy son, is it possible that the Tudor dynasty could still be on the throne to this day?

It's possible. But according to virtually all sources Anne of Cleves was a extremely unattractive woman and thus Henry could not bring himself to consumate the marriage.

Yeah, pretty much.  In theory, had Edward VI lived, the Tudors could still be on the throne.  It all depends on chance.

After the death of Elizabeth I, or Elizabeth Tudor, the Stuarts became the new dynasty, uniting England and Scotland into the United Kingdom.

Had the Tudors remained on the throne, this would not have happened, at least not at that time.  I suppose a Tudor monarch could have married into the Stuart line at some point, bringing Scotland into the Kingdom.

As stated by Deeds, it is true that had Edward VI been a strong, healthy king, and had lived to adulthood, had married, and had children, that the Tudor dynasty could have continued.  During the lifetime of Edward, it was believed that he would be marrying Lady Jane Grey.

Actually, it would be intriguing to still have the Tudor dynasty, from the 1500's, still on the throne.  I am really tiring of the House of Windsor.

Yes, so am I. I suggest hanging them all.

I'd say it's possible, but odds are somewhere along the line you'd end up with an awful king that would be overthrown.

Besides, without Elizabeth, where would England be today?

Not much different, to be honest.
