Dublin NE    (5% boxes open) 56-44
Dublin NW (3%) 54-46
Cork SC (50%) 67-33
Dublin SW 60-40

RTÉ suggest that based on figures so far Donegal NE might be the only No constituency.
I haven't hears anything much about Kerry N yet, so I'll hold off on such a call.

Declan Ganley has said the result marks a "very convincing win" for the Yes camp.

Is this the last time anyone will care about what Ganley says?
Fingers crossed...

Declan Ganley said the country had "made a mistake". He paid tribute to the Taoiseach's "excellent" campaign, which he said had made "vassals" of the Opposition. "Cowen is a masterful politician who ran a masterful campaign."

Patricia McKenna: 'People voted not for the Lisbon Treaty but for economic recovery, jobs and EU membership.'

I rarely agree with Patricia, but I think she's on the money here.

More tallies...
Wicklow (100% Tally) 70.27%-29.73%
Sligo-Leitrim N (100%) 64-36
Limerick W (100%) 68-32
Limerick E (100%) 60-40
Clare (80%) 60-40

Looks like Nigel Farage (UKIP) has turned up at Dublin Castle (where the Chief Returning Officer is operating from). Could be fun...

If there are now several constituencies with 100% tallies, why does Referendum Ireland say "0 results out of 43 declared"?

Tallies are unofficial counts by party officials. The official returning officers usually take a bit longer to clarify and confirm things. The results will start flowing very soon.

Where I spend most of my time: Kildare North has declared:

YES: 32,012 (76.19%)
NO: 10,002 (23.81%)

That's a 21.57% swing towards the YES from last time.

Dún Laoighaire appears to be breaking 80% in favour.
(Read: The bourgeoisie approve! Grin)

I knew the use of that word would come back to haunt me. Wink

Anyway Donegal SW is seen as too close to call. So maybe 41-2 other than that...

Beating Referendum Ireland into a cocked hat (3/43 they say).

Theory: Constituencies closer to the border (and influenced by Ulster politics) get British TV signals and have seen the rise of UKIP in the Euros, making them swing less than purely Eire constituencies. Discuss
