If you were fighting in WWII which theater would you rather go to?

Europe. The climate and conditions in the Pacific would be absolute hell, not to mention a crazier enemy. Best place of all would be invading Italy too rather than from D-Day.

Yeah, Europa. American POWs were treaten better - or at least less terrible - by the Germans then by the Japanese. And as far as I know the majority of losses was suffered in the Pacific, too.

Europe, I'm quite forced to answer this...

As a soldier, being French, with a swift defeat, not so much dead in 1940 and many prisoners back before the end of war, well, it would have been "fine".

As for historical and strategic viewpoint, the main theater was the Russian front, of course. The most interesting, the most horrible, the most important.

Pacific, if Burma is to be considered as such. Only place I could have fought. Would be fighting against the Empire, of course.
