Poll shows Kerry win in a landslide

The Australian results were about the average for the ten nation-Spain, France, Russia, Britain, Canada, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Australia and Israel. Only Israel supported Bush by a margin outside the MoE; Russia supported Bush but within the MoE. The poll also found that most people still had a favourable opinion of americans, but the world view of america was getting dimmer and dimmer. Which leads to the conclusion-"It's Bush, stupid!" as said by the Mexican contribution, Reformas commentator, Alejandro Moreno.

I bet that if you had taken a poll in 1937 about who most countries prefered, FDR or Hitler, most would have said Hilter.

Certainly, Hitler would have kicked the crap out of Churchill, even in Britain.

my point is nothing; it's just that this poll was in my paper and I thought it might of been of interest.

Well, actually, I do have a point on further reflection-the world hates bush, its making the world hate you, no country that the world has detested has stayed strong for long.

Churchill wasn't PM of the UK in 1937, but I don't think Hitler was ever very popular in Britain...I mean, he was a Hun! Wink

I can honestly say, that I could care less what the world thinks of the United States or our President.

Funny that many countries who were with the USA in the war have very anti-Bush opinions, while Russia, an opponent of the USA in the Iraq war, has a Bush friendly population.

Russia also had clearly the highest opinion of Americans in general with an 86% favourable rating , followed by Israel with 81%. Spain had the lowest opinion of Americans.

Mexico is typically against the U.S. in most of the questions, but when asked if the U.S.'s actions contribute to world peace, Mexicans say yes more than any other country.

Actually, it's just that most Russians have never heard of Kerry...Undecideds were a majority in Russia in that poll.
