In light of the irritating longevity of the current Parliament I thought a new thread might be called for.

I'd like to say option 1, but realistically I think it'll be 3. The Tories won't want to miss their chance to appoint a Conservative majority in the Senate or preside over the Vancouver Olympics, so they'll do whatever it takes to stay in power.
