Is this because of the thesis thing? Jeez, I didn't think it'd effect the race all that much.

Only a small sample of the poll was conducted after the thesis came out in the Post. It's more because Democrats are starting to pay attention to the race now. It's not like McDonnell was ever going to win by 15-20 points.
