I still don't see how there's anyway Deeds wins (unless Democrats turn out in unexpectedly high numbers in NoVa), especially when he's being killed 2-1 with independents

Only a small sample of the poll was conducted after the thesis came out in the Post. It's more because Democrats are starting to pay attention to the race now. It's not like McDonnell was ever going to win by 15-20 points.

If Deeds can really milk this thesis thing for what it's worth, McDonnell will BLEED independants like there's no tomorrow.
