Really people, cut the bullsh**t in this game. It's unhealthy. The past is the past, anyway.

It is a game at the end of the day but it's almost impossiuble to play. In the past I would have PMed people and asked them to consider preferencing me. This time I PMed no one, less PMing people to vote be seen as some sort of 'devilish recruitment'

I beleive I laid out the demarkation, between 'devilish recruitment' and just pming someone to ask for a preference, a few days ago. I shall need to dig it up though.

I'm only really stating this because I note reading this thread that I had apparently received 1 'zombie' voter.  Wary of this beforehand I treated everyone the same and didn't ask anyone to vote for me

It's so refreshing to see the myself and RPP out of the news when talking about zombie voting! I think Torie was the only one person accused of being a zombie on my list, and I hold him in very high regard.

And don't forget I'll become myself a zombie in 2010...

I'll be a "clever" zombie, an aware citizen of Atlasia, voting, always voting, but never bothering to intervene or participate.

I find it funny that Marokai completely forgot to mention the part where I attempted to destroy Hamilton in a coup, funded and supported by the very people he despises. I've said before that I regret posting the PMs, but only at the time I did, I think I should have kept them for use at a later date. Yes, yes, I was part of Hamilton's "zombie wave" of the Pacific. Big deal. I had been active before on the site, registered October 2008, thank you very much. I had an interest in Atlasia that was in its early stages, and Hamilton was the first to make contact with me. I registered in the state I live in. You critique me for joining the Pacific, the region I happen to live in real life, when you live in Ohio, and are registered in Arizona. And, if you had any worthwhile information, I only joined because Xahar told me that the ticket had DA support at the time.

Good god, at least show all the information.

I couldn't care less about your little spats with Hamilton. You're just as close now as you ever were, and your wiki page is nauseatingly complimentary of Hamilton. You are on the ticket because you're easy to use for electoral benefit. You are a tool.

Part of the requirements of the Wiki is that info be unbiased. "Disputed to do neutrality claims"? I didn't want to be objective of any poster, and I tried not to be.  I am not sure why I was selected, and didn't know of it until Xahar Pm'd me. I decided to run with him because he is my friend, and I have talked with him numerous times in the past. I don't care if I was electoral use or not. A lot of Badger's voters were zombies, but you couldn't care less.

Yes, NiK, but you must understand that once you make one important mistake, it is unforgivable in the eyes of Marokai and it allows him to brand you whatever label he wants.

I do realize that I have made mistakes. But attacking me senselessly as his "right hand man" is unfair. I am my own man, and, I have rebuked him many times. I wouldn't have joined the ticket if there were no DA support, so now I'm kind of stuck here if the DA doesn't support the ticket.

A deal with the devil.

You knew it was coming. I just wish I got to another topic first.

In the last couple days, Xahar announced he was running for President with NiK as his running mate.

Lt. Governor: Alexander Hamilton

Yes, that NiK. The one who was Hamilton's man from day one when he tried to invade the Pacific region with zombies. But we've covered that before, no need to go back in time. This isn't a Blast From the Past article afterall, but it is essential to understand the full background of this event. And as such, knowing the curious and electorally savvy choice of NiK is important to keep in mind given his connection and his admirers.

Immediately, the ARC lined up behind him. Why would they do such a thing? The ARC would not support any random leftist, of course. Just take a look at their set of principles! Xahar is a leftist figure who has openly sympathized with and supported Socialist movements, erase his name and the circumstances from the run, and imagine any other traditional leftist, would the ARC support them? Hell no they wouldn't.

A few days ago, Bgwah, in a simple joke at the time, told Hamilton I was the JCP candidate for February. We were anxious for reactions, and so I let it go unchallenged. Within hours, though, who is the first person to contact me about me supposedly running for President? Xahar. News went straight from Hamilton to Xahar within hours on the day before and day of his decision to run. While Bgwah didn't achieve the plans he wanted to with the prank, we realized one thing from it, Xahar and Hamilton were in close contact.

Xahar/NiK is a ticket that reeks of backroom dealing, of cold calculation, of political convenience, reeks of Hamilton. And then this was said:

A good ticket which I hope I can convince the DA to support in February, if possible.

How.. disappointing. Of course, Hash later 'retracted' his support (after some great DA members rebelled from the decision and against Hash's attempted forcing of support) but what the hell? Why would Hash even come to that conclusion in the first place? Clearly, of course, he was involved before the announcement in some fashion, but why would you ally with that group?

The ARC is not officially on the ticket, but they are in all but name, they are in spirit. NiK being Hamilton's man, ARC support, in constant contact with Hamilton behind the scenes.. it is rather clear the spirit of the ARC surrounds every move of this ticket. And so, because of this, the ticket will inevitably rely on ARC support! That much is clear! And who does the ARC support consist of? Trolls, zombies, fools.

These are the voters that cast their vote for the ARC candidate in the Senate election:

I didn't even know who the hell some of these people were or that they were registered until they voted, for Christ's sake. That's nine voters that are conclusively zombies, let along the others that you could classify as close, such as Earth, phknrocket1k (who is a JCP zombie), or FallenMorgan who doesn't really participate much at all, but whatever, I'll give that libertarian the benefit of the doubt though.

What can be said though, is that out of 22 total votes for the ARC candidate, at least ten of them are zombies. Nearly HALF of the ARC candidate votes in the Senate elections were zombies! Other candidates aren't innocent, of course. Badger had a couple zombies, Fritz had one, Afleitch had one, Barnes had one or two. But none of these candidates relied so heavily that quite literally 50% of their total support came from them!

And this is what will be the machine behind Xahar/NiK. This is what Hashemite, noted anti-zombie crusader, wanted to ally with. If any of you are to support Xahar/NiK, keep in mind the whole time who supports them.

Quite simply, the ARC is a troll movement. No other movement like that in my entire time in Atlasia has been so open and blatant about the fact that they are a troll movement causing trouble "for the lulz" than the ARC. That's why it's stunning why so many normal people would even consider giving it the time of day.

Duke was right about one thing, even though I've criticized him plenty of times in the past Atlasia is simply full of stupid people and children. Kids who will warm up to anyone who says two nice words about them and forget all about the past. No one in Atlasia has more than a 48 hour memory, and it's frustrating beyond all belief.

Xahar/NiK is a ticket based on the idea of winning by any means necessary. It is a fake unity ticket, relying heavily on troll and zombie support. Xahar wants to win so much, Xahar wants power so much, that he made a deal with the devil to have a shot. I look forward to how the race shapes up, and I encourage the honorable DA members to continue to rebel against the ticket that epitomizes all that is wrong with Atlasian elections, and I hope Xahar shows some policies as time goes on so he doesn't look like someone who's completely power hungry. But at this point? I'm not encouraged.

And please, for the love of God, don't be sweet-talked.

Initially I was really tempted by a ticket uniting two people I like quite much, but now it appears more and more clearly that tis will be the next ARC ticket for February. While I refuse to think that Xahar is directly involved in a backroom deal, I can't support his association with Hamilton anymore. I however can perfectly understand him, since I was in his same situation just two months ago. Hamilton is a damn manipulator, able to attract people from everywhere because he knows how to tell people what they want to hear. But you can't fool everybody eternally, and Xahar isn't stupid enough to fall in this trap, and I'm hopeful he will soon understand Hamilton's real intents.

*It seems like you've lost your first attempt at getting elected to the Senate. Alot of things swirled around left-wing candidates, such as Fritz jumping in at the last minute and the JCP being somewhat conflicted on who to support. How do you feel about your loss?

Well, I feel a little exhausted, but I'm happy that the election is over. I thought I made a good run, and even though I didn't win, I enjoyed the race.

*Further, do you feel bitter at all towards anyone? If Fritz hadn't run, afterall, you would likely be Senator-elect Barnes, not to place blame of course, given my vote.

I don't feel bitter. I wouldn't blame anyone for my lose. I don't control Fritz, and his choices were his alone, not my wishes. I totally understood the JCP's decision to endorse me below him, since he is a member of their party.

You know, I actually feel  a little disappointed, because I was so excited about working in the Senate, with so many friends and colleagues.

*What's in your future now, after your apparent loss in the Senate elections? Do you have anything in mind for upcoming events?

I've decided to not run for reelection as Lieutenant Governor in February. I've enjoyed my time as Lt. Gov., and look forward to serving the next two months.

As for other plans? Well, honestly, I don't know. Right now I'm working with the DA for plans in February, but that's all hush, hush.

*What do you think of the ARC's voters? Don't exactly seem like an illustrious group, do they?

I think there is irrefutable evidence that some of their voters were recruited through Zombie Tactics.  They are still a young party, so we'll see what they do. But, if they continue to elect members through Zombie recruits, they'll never have my personal support.

*Speaking of, a classic interview question, what are your opinion of the parties, one by one? Answer honestly.

JCP: A very good, respectable, party. I have a multitude of friends there.  Although, I would like to see a shake up in the White House (not saying the President is doing a bad job, he's actually very good at it!)

DA: I love my party, no question asked. I can't say anything bad about them.

PCP/RPP: Mixed, honestly. They have some good people, but right now, seem to be on the decline, which is a bit sad, actually.

LNF: You can't really say many bad things about them, although I would like to a full party platform.

ARC: I don't have a negative view, although time will tell what they do.

*Will you be supporting or opposing the Xahar/NiK ticket? By all accounts it is a ticket that will rely heavily on Hamilton's party supporting it and the zombies therein. Do you really want the DA associated with such a movement?

At the moment, I will not be supporting that ticket.  The DA is setting its own plans right now, and we have a different path to follow.

*Anyone you particularly dislike? Be honest.

There's no one I dislike, I do get annoyed with some people, sometimes, but we all do.

*In the past, there were some efforts to sway your party allegiance, we both know this of course, given that I was one person who asked you if you ever considered joining the JCP a long time ago. Have you ever considered leaving the DA? You are certainly one of the more left-wing members.

Never seriously. If I recall, correctly. I gave some thought to do it when I would run for reelection as Lt. Gov. (I thought this back in July), because I didn't want to switch parties, midterm. I'll be in the DA for a long time.

*What do you think of the High Authority for Ethics in Voting? A good step or a horrible idea? Why?

It's a great idea. I'm really excited about it. It will be a successful organization, and help Atlasia.

*Do you think the next Senate will be much different from the previous ones?

It will be quite interesting, seeing as they will have to deal with the slowly improving economy, and the last two months of President Lief's term.

*What is your opinion of the current Senate and the Senators individually? You can include me in the group, since I was in the Senate for essentially the entire term.

This Senate has accomplished a great many things.

RowanBrandon: He's tried to be a Conservative block in the Left-leaning Senate, which is sometimes good, and sometimes bad.

Marokai Blue: A very good President pro tem, and helped the Senate stay on track.

Fritz: Very good ideas, and I'm glad he'll be going back to the Senate.

Afleitch: Sponsor of many good bills, and a great member of our party.

I'm really happy with it. It was particularly exciting to watch, since it was the first change to the Court since I've joined Atlasia.

*If you could replace Governor AndrewCT with another person, aside from yourself, who would it be? And do you approve of his time in office?

I think I would choose Smid. He is a great Representative, and would be an excellent Governor.

I think Andrew has done a great job as Governor, and he's become a close friend of mine.

*What are some legislative ideas that you had in mind for the Senate's consideration, if you had been elected?

I wanted to introduce a Bill to help the Environment, that would have been my main priority when I would start.
