The disrespect for the law and the constitution by the leaders of the RPP is... well... not exactly shocking, but still probably a bad thing.
Wow its going to be fun seeing your sorry ass tossed out in October

Oh.

I've long been critical of the RPP's disdain for democracy.

The RPP is far from undemocratic, we also welcome opposition.

It is hilarious to note the reaction that the DS gave to Andy Jackson running for, and becoming Lt. Gov. of the DS compared to the JCPs meltdown over Hamilton

I've long been critical of the RPP's disdain for democracy.

Well I haven't noticed until now. I previously had offered numerous positive comments about your administration but I don't know if I was seeing straight. We don't judge all JCPers the same, nor do we hold any kind of grudge against them simply for having different views.

I never said anything about all RPPers nor do I hold a grudge against all of them. My comment had to do with the party leadership (which is incidentally the Southeast region's leadership).

First off, don't be silly. It's only 284,090.909 miles tall. That's exactly the height necessary to represent my greatness - I'm not God after all, I do have some humility. I might even be willing to make it a bit smaller if we can encrust it in precious jewels and stones.

As to how long it will take, I am uncertain. Should the citizens of the region prove not to be filthy communist traitors, I can assure you that the various architects and engineers who would no doubt be willing to fight one another to the death or sacrifice their first born sons just for the honor of slaving for the rest of their lives in a vain attempt to complete the monument will be able to give you an estimate.

According to the Wikipedia article for cubits, the measurement has varied over time.

So your measurement is correct in a way. However, since the 18 inches measurement is shorter I would say we should go with that - after all, that would be the least expensive option.

The disrespect for the law and the constitution by the leaders of the RPP is... well... not exactly shocking, but still probably a bad thing.

Not at all surprising. The ridiculous forced outrage to this statement is even more absurd.

Keep in mind that we have four active leaders at the moment. DWTL and Duke can get fired up and partisan at times, but hey, it makes the game more interesting Wink

I would also like to point out that PiT and SPC are much more calm and l respectful of the constitution (SPC respects it too much if that's possible Tongue).

How do we make sure it doesn't hit the moon?

Once construction has reached the point that the statue is high enough, I expect the moon to be broken up and used as building materials. Granted this may have some effects on the tides and whatnot, but considering it's a statue whose height exceeds our planet's diameter by many times I would imagine that the gravitational forces generated by it would cause such things anyways. The good news is that the new situation will bring about the need for new technological innovations, thus creating high paying jobs for researchers.
