I thought about it when I first started doing them but ended up deciding that it would give people too much wiggle room and not have anyone really pick a side... but now I kind of thinking it was the wrong decision. Should I add that option to future amendments? And should we re-run the older amendments with that option (maybe after we finish all the other amendments?)

As it currently stands, Amendment IX is practically meaningless.  Something a bit more to the point, like "Just because a right isn't mentioned in the Constitution doesn't mean it doesn't exist" would make it far more effective.  (And provide a decent answer to all of those wiseasses who bray "There's no right to privacy in the Constitution, therefore you don't have one!")
