Basically, free-for-all of the losing Democratic nominees in the 1800s. I didn't include candidates who lost and won in separate elections, or failed candidates who won the popular vote.

Bryan was "the greatest Klansman of all," one KKK chapter proclaimed when he died. Crosses were burned across the country in his memory. To be fair, Bryan wasn't himself a Klansman; he only thought they were patriots and didn't want to criticize them.
