His twisting of numbers and misrepresentation of statements is exactly the sort of thing conservatives accuse Moore of.

He opened the year with a remarkably accurate prediction (NH) but since then has become increasingly marginalised and maligned since more and more has been heard of his thinking. Though he still receives plenty of attention, he now lacks any apparent believers and is the subject of relatively continuous ridicule.
