That is an awful person who don't represent the will of his constituents. He only wants power.

I am wondering if he will try to return to the Liberal Party if they return to the power?

He won't since he'll likely be defeated in the next federal election running as a Tory.

He will be a candidate in Kingsway? I thought that he is smart enough to go in another circonscription.

I think he is. I recall reading that somewhere.

Last I heard, they were thinking of parachuting him into the Kamloops seat. Which may not be the best idea in the world, either.

To replace the retiring Tory MP, then. Interesting.

That is a better seat than Kingsway but Kamloops is not a safe seat. NDP can win it.

And parachuting in Emerson is probably the best way to make it vulnerable to the NDP. Of course, the NDP has already got a ton of battles across British Columbia; maybe they're hoping the NDP will be stretched too thin by Esquimalt, VIN, New Westminster, Nanaimo-Cowichan, Pitt Meadows, Kingsway itself, etc.

I voted HP because he's a power-hungry nut with no ethics. In other words, a standard politician. Wink

I don't get why someone would choose awful HP though. What he did was no worse than what lots of politicians do. It's not like he's a serial killer or something.

If that's the plan it could be quite stupid. Kamloops has often done its own thing at federal level...

The funniest part is that, if the Liberals became the largest party, Emerson would probably try to defect back. So I really don't understand why the Conservatives are trying to save him.

Emerson would join a Communist government or a fascist government.
