Arresting my irresistible impulses to entropic impish iconoclastic insouciant irascible incorrigibility is an irreducibly impossible importuning.

And the "i" words are just so well, prolifically fecund, to boot!

Obviously both the 'social conservatism' and the AIDS are caused by the poverty imposed in the south.  Who imposes this poverty?  The owning class.

It is silly to claim that the personal opinions or 'values' of powerless people have any causative influence on anything in the actual world.

Social conservatism is a totally toothless force then, I take it?  The ruling class makes people poor, and they became at once socially conservative (or often do) and powerless. What is the definition of "poverty" by the way?

No power over other people, of course, Torie.

No, it's abstract concepts mixed with conspiracy theories.

What are you talking about? Most blacks are very socially conservative.
So? They don't care about social conservatism one bit.

LMAO. Explain why only democrats who are terrible like Musgrave get elected from heavily black parts of missisipi. If blacks didn't care about social conservatism that part of missisipi would send a (sane) black dem and not a DINO.

The report uses the Census Bureau definition of the South, which includes DE, MD, and DC, but not MO.

But since you chose to use an electoral version, 8 of the 13 States or territories that have an AIDS rate higher than the national average voted for Kerry (145 electoral votes to 93 for Bush).

CA CT DE DC MD NJ NY PA vs. FL GA SC LA TX

Of the 22 States with an AIDS rate less than 1/2 the national average, 16 voted for Bush and 6 for Kerry (101 electoral votes to 48 electoral votes)

AK IA ID IN KS KY MT NE NM ND OH OK SD UT WV WY vs. ME MI MN WI NH VT WI

The portion of The South that most would identify as the Bible Belt typically had lower AIDS rates than the nation as a whole.

Money is merely a representation of political power - by definition over those below one in the heirarchy.
